On a rainy day !

On a rainy day
When I set out for a stray,
Frogs croaking on the way
I leave behind my entire fray!

As I see, people running around to take shelter
I get in my craziest avatar and play in the pitter patter,
Splashing the water all around
My love for rains is newly found!

Drenched in rain as I sing along
Nothing seems right or wrong,
Fields go all green
Ubiquitously happiness is seen!

But as I realize the loss our country faced
Men, women and children mislaid,
Who went for a pilgrimage to a holy place,
Doesn’t this shatter the credence of human race?

Maybe it is just a twist of fate
And nature’s answer to our development rate,
Yet politicians contemplating over it rather than serving
Am I in a country which is full of people who are self-seeking?

The one who is always around..

The trust, that when he throws up high,
he will be there to catch!

It is not just any affiliation; it is the most precious one. It is the most conscientious and respectable. With fathers, there comes a natural way of respecting them, for their revere. They hold your hands when you have a phobia. They scold you when you are off beam. But also adore you to the core. They never make you sit and explain stuff. Instead they set an exemplar. They have experience of every nook and cranny. They speak little but convey more with their stern standpoint. They do not emote overtly, in fact try to hide their contusion.

    1)      My father always used to say, do not be late for your school. Because if you fail to take your school bus, I am not going to drop you to school. We used to feel what kind of  a rule is this, all fathers drop their children, why not ours, but now we realize how it has shaped our approach, I always get ready beforehand , wherever we go and have realized the importance of punctuality. It also taught us that time and tide wait for none.

    2)     My father always have a humorous side to everything and in the worst cases also we used to end up in fits of laughter, this silently taught me that, there always is another side, life is not to mourn at every point but to look at another perspective. Now I know how to make people laugh, because I have a funny side too and now I also know how to take things differently and have fun.

    3)     Dad always knows what he wants to do and gets it done by hook or by crook, this teaches me the decision power, when you are sure that something is right and is important, you should be after it, and till either you achieve it or fail at it. Earlier I used to give up on things easily but now I give in my best to pull it off.

    4)     My dad never paid heed to what the society will say to him or thinks about him, he lives life for himself and his family and loved ones, because he is sure that whatever you do, good or bad, people will say stuff behind your back, so no need to bother and do what your heart says. Even I have stopped thinking about what people think about me, I do things in which I feel happy and satisfied.

    5)     My dad is an expert in teasing and ragging me till I end up being irritated and angry, then I realize how essential it is to be patient and not get angry at stuff and kind of people which come across you in life.

    6)     My dad has a very big heart when it comes to spending money , he spends it like it grows on trees, and when I ask him to be a bit miser, he tells me, you never know how many years you are going to be alive, you earn bucks for spending and enjoying and not for saving it all. This teaches me that even I should spend money for others and me without thinking much and make everyone happy.

    7)     My dad loves travelling and has taken us all to all parts of the country and a few parts of Asia. We have actually been to all the states and a lot of cities and towns of India. He feels life is short and he loves to know about the culture and lifestyle of every nook and corner. This teaches me how to enjoy life as we are blessed with only one life but we can have fun of several lives.

    8)    There came a stage in our lives when dad had to play dual role in his life , he is both our mother and father and he plays it excellently, I know it is very difficult for him to suffer the pain with a smile and never make us realize the absence of the one whom we lost. This teaches me that life can put you in any situation, it is important how you deal with it and act according to what the situation demands for and smile through your tears.

    9)     There came a situation in life, where, without his mistake he had to bow down his head in front of a person who had committed all the mistakes and still he did so, just to protect his loved ones, this taught me that we have to mould oneself according to the circumstances, though self respect is important but not at the cost of a loved one.

    10) My dad scolds me, teases me but loves me the most, he is one person in my life who loves me unconditionally, because I know sometimes I am a brat, other times I am stubborn and very difficult to deal with, I don’t listen to him many a times, but still he comes to me with the same love, care and affection. This teaches me how unconditional, love actually is.

There is always one hand, which is there to hold you tight!

Fathers are ones who love the daughters the most, and daughters are their princesses , they are harsh from the outside but have loads of love on the inside and when daughters get married , fathers are the most affected ones, because they miss their laughter and clatter in the house. When fathers carry their daughters in the arms for the first time, there is a silent promise, to keep their child happy forever, and they try to do it till their last breath. Daughters don’t stay with fathers forever but have a bond which only they can understand.

I have something to tell you..

I have something to tell you

Wind, which never stops blowing
Devoid of any yearning,
And makes each one sway
I have something to tell you!

The gushing water of a river
That fulfills the thirst of every creature,
Without even knowing the people it serves
I have something to tell you!

The blazing sun after a bleak night
That brings sunshine to every house on each site,
Without counting the number of bricks it is made up of
I have something to tell you!

The earth which has all the patience in store
And bears the burden without any roar,
Of the good as well as the evil
I have something to tell you!

I can never praise the nature enough
For what it has been doing
For all of us, without asking;
I can never be grateful enough
For Your unconditional love;
I can say a lot to you
Without knowing
What something I have to say to you;
But in the end,
I will always have something to tell you..!

When the mythological character Arjun, meets the inquisitive character of modern era!!

I have always loved the way Arjun presented himself in front of Lord Krishna about his doubts and apprehensions. Though he has always been a good human being, worked for his loved ones and the kingdom, was very sharp in archery and possessed all the good qualities. But when in the battlefield he had to fight against his gurus, friends and relatives, he faced a dilemma and had a dialogue with Lord Krishna, which happens to be, the source of knowledge, of how we should lead our lives. Akin to Arjun, even I feel the need of raising such questions to my Guru. And I feel Arjun was brave enough to grasp such knowledge so quickly and then applying it practically.

He questioned that he doesn't want to kill people for the sake of ruling the world and he cannot be at peace if he does so. So Krishna explained him that death is definite and the hour is set, you are nobody to kill and you are nobody to save them. Everybody is a divine soul, soul never dies, soul never takes birth, its omnipresent, only the costume changes, the outer cover changes, so you shouldn’t mourn. You are feeling this way because you are attached to their bodies, but actually they are not those bodies, you are suppose to love them and love everyone else without any sort of attachment to the cover. The soul enters a body with a purpose and when the purpose gets over; it leaves the body and come in some other form or maybe become eligible for salvation, depending on its karma.

And then he asked that if he wins the battle, he will lose his loved ones , so with whom he will share the victory and if he loses then also, the kingdom will go in wrong hands so he doesn't know what to do, as the future is unpredictable. Then Lord explained him-It’s in your hand to perform karma but result is not in your hand. And you have to accept the consequence, be it positive or negative. Because that is the part of God, our part is performance with full dedication. And also that we don't perform for upshot, we perform because we are made to do things, not for the greed of outcome.

Even I try to follow some of these in my life and I really like the way Arjun put forward himself so truthfully and asks such questions.I would also like to ask him for tips so that I can progress in my life. I really get inspired with their dialogue and would love to ask him several questions, related to,how so quickly he understood all of it and applied in his life, because I try, succeed many times but when I don’t succeed I give up.And also how I can harness this knowledge in modern era? I hope Arjun will help me with that.

I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past. – Thomas Jefferson

The new way to connect- actual and illusory!

People in our lives come and go, some leave footprints behind, and it’s hard to erase them ,thus they wander in our hearts forever. I have some special people in my life, out of them, many are still in my life, and few have left, yet felt around. They bent my life in a way, I couldn’t have anticipated. So when I got an opportunity to connect with the bunch using  WeChat,I chose these-

Connecting with the ones!

1)  The one with whom I have that connection- I met this person a few years back and since then we are best of friends. We may not be in contact with each other all the time. Many times we don’t talk for months but when we get together, it’s like, we never estranged. As if we are meant to be so! We have had the most illogical talks and also some life changing and self improvement pondering. We can natter for hours and when it requires to be shut, we speak through our eyes,
smile and frown

We talk, we care, and we share,
 With nothing to spare
Our love is rare!!

All those chit-chats
We love, we hate, and we are late,
On those dates
Our bond is a gift of fate!!

We say, we don’t say, for two or a day
In the sun, we lay
Never leaving each other at bay!!

We laugh, we cry and we pry,
We try and try
Wipe the tears till they dry!!

We tease, we giggle, and we balk
And then we stalk
Geared up to hold and talk!!

    2)   The one who knows it all- Yes, I do have a person in my life, to whom no matter what I ask, be it of her genre, be it out of league, she has got all the elucidations. I go to her crying with a mishap or howling loudly in thrill, she welcomes me with open arms. If there is something, about which nothing can be done, she will open my eyes, with her wisdom and I will say, oh yes! This happened for my good. She is a magician for me. I never withhold anything from her, and love to present the “as it is” version of me.

She loves and also scolds
Can never get enough of it!
And the way she moulds
She can convert tragic
Into glory with her magic!

So on a rainy day
When I have nothing to say
And I give up all hope
She shows me a path and I cope!

She teaches me never to fear
When lightning is all I can hear
And storm is very near
Because she is here!

Without her life would be hell
That I can tell
But with her guidance, only love dwells
And whenever in need, can make video calls!

  3) The one who made it all- He created everything around us, from birds to beast, from humans to yeast, bread, butter and feast, happiness and sorrow in least. I get answers to my fears and apprehensions, I get that love and care when I need it most, without asking, because I have that connection with the power which guides me all through. When I am confused and look for answers, I abruptly get all of it and my path gets built instantly.

       With no hope left,
I was nothing but a devastated soul,
You aroused me with your deft
           Into a discerning individual!

I never worshipped you in the form of idols
But always had a faith in disguise
You showed me how you subsist in one and all
It’s just a matter of how you scrutinize!

I started to feel you in the present
Like you are shielding me from the contrite
You steered me through the torment
         And made me incite!

Now whenever I shake the instrument
I know you are the one to spot it
And take me out of the predicament
        To grow and exploit!

You know when to grab it
and I know when to shake it!

    4) The one who has all the grump in stored- Like, loathing teaches you the value of fancy and despair makes delight worthy, this one in my life makes my every move count. His blames and accusations, increases my capacity of forbearance. His hatred towards me is important for my progress in spirituality. If he would have loved me as I expected I would have never yearned for the love of god. With our every conversation, when I feel I am broke from the outside, I know I have grown stronger, on the inside.

When I am already in a ruined state
All you can do is hate,
Showing me the pit
And you say, there is more to it!
Continue being jealous!

I gather myself and stand
Without the help of a person’s hand,
I see the night sky with stars lit
And I say, there is more to it!

You show me the worst of me
And never let me be,
Crammed with rage and fit
And you say, there is more to it!

With my head held high
And prospects hi-fi,
I share moments using wifi
And I say, there is more to it!

    5) The one who was once my ownI have never had a word with you since you left, never loved you , the way I should have , can never thank you enough for what you did. I have seen you in dreams that you are back and then trying not to open eyes and face the veracity. I know I have grown stronger since then, still I miss your lap, when I want to just lie. I  have no clue what I’d talk to you about, whether I will ask about the another world or I will talk about our life here, but surely I would like to be in touch with you forever.

From somewhere,somehow, you
look around!

Remembrance is never enough
And sometimes it gets very tough,
And then I say to myself
This shall pass too!

Losing the support and dependability
Whilst happens in reality,
Is harsh, and then I say to myself
This shall pass too!

Loving is all I should have done
Instead, hatred is what I had shown,
And then I say to myself
Like everything, the person has passed on too!!

Now, you can be felt, just like the wind
When I can’t find you using look around,
And then I say to myself
I don’t want this to pass on like this!
